Below is an image of the Executive Order 9066 that was the reason that Japanese Americans had to stay in Japanese Interment Camps. The document ordered the removal of resident enemy "aliens" from parts of the West vaguely identified as military areas. (Signed February 19, 1942)
This is an image of an armed guard tower where guards would watch over the "campus" of the Japanese Internment Camp located in Poston, Arizona. On this tower many guards would share shifts among each other so the tower would have a guard up there all day, everyday.
