It was terrible when we were forced to move out of our homes. Knowing that we would be sent to camps was bad as it stood. We were told that we could only take what we could carry of our property and anything and everything else would have to be sold or given away. Some were lucky to have friends that would allow them to hold their property in storage during WW2 so when they got out of the camps they would have their property back. Although, no homes would be able to be reserved or put in storage so all Japanese Americans lost their homes or were sold.
